Nov 28, 2016 · My favorite by far is to do it with a circular saw on the floor on a sheet of 4x8 rigid pink Styrofoam installation. You don't have to mess around with saw horses or having support for cutoffs. A sheet of insulation sts about $11 and lasts for dozens if not hundreds of cuts. I also use a Kreg Rip Cut jig for my rdless circular saw.

The problem I run into is that I can't reach across a 48" board or panel, so if I am using a rail saw, it is difficult and requires awkward things like climbing on top of the table.
